

Gisa Flake (born October 10, 1985, in Braunschweig) is a German actress, cabaret artist, singer, and voice-over and audio drama performer. As early as her youth, Flake performed on the Brunsviga cabaret stage in Braunschweig and participated in various productions. After graduating from high school, she studied acting at the August Everding Bavarian Theater Academy in Munich from 2006 to 2010, earning a diploma in acting. She made her film debut in 2009 in Michael Herbig’s movie *Wickie und die starken Männer* (Vicky the Viking), in which she played the wife of Tjure. She reprised this same role in 2011 in the sequel, *Wickie auf großer Fahrt* (Vicky and the Treasure of the Gods). In 2009, Flake won the Federal Singing Competition Berlin in the "Musical/Chanson" category. In 2010, she went on tour with her solo show *Ich glaub, ’ne Dame werd ich nie* (I Don't Think I'll Ever Be a Lady). This was later followed by the cabaret program *Scham & Schande* (Shame & Disgrace). In 2013, she collaborated once again with Michael Herbig on the sitcom *Bully macht Buddy*. She gained further recognition through roles in *Blochin – Die Lebenden und die Toten*, the ZDF series *Ella Schön*, and the drama series *Fritzie – Der Himmel muss warten*. Since 2021, Flake has played Commissioner Alexandra Luschke in the crime series *Polizeiruf 110*. Also since 2021, she has appeared regularly on the satirical news show *heute-show*. Additionally, she works as a voice-over artist and audio drama performer. Among other roles, she voiced Police Chief Misty Luggins in the 2022 film *Die Gangster Gang* (The Bad Guys). Gisa Flake lives in Berlin with her partner, the actor Knud Riepen, and is a supporter of the football club Eintracht Braunschweig.
