

Natalia Avelon (born Natalia Siwek; * March 29, 1980, in Wrocław, Poland) is a German-Polish actress and singer. Natalia Avelon moved to Germany with her family at the age of eight and grew up in Ettlingen. After graduating from high school, she initially worked as a fashion model and later studied theater studies in Munich. She gained her first on-camera experience starting in the late 1990s through commercials and the television series *Verbotene Liebe*. Further roles followed in various television productions, among others, as well as in the extended prologue of *Der Schuh des Manitu*. Avelon achieved her breakthrough as an actress in 2007 with the lead role of Uschi Obermaier in the biopic *Das wilde Leben*. For the film, she recorded a new interpretation of the song "Summer Wine" together with Ville Valo, which reached number two on the German singles charts. She later released her debut album, *Love Kills*, featuring collaborations with artists such as Bela B and Guy Chambers. In addition to her work as an actress and singer, Avelon is a member of the SWR3 LiveLyrix ensemble and has appeared in various entertainment programs, including *Das große Backen*. During the 2023/24 season, she also took the stage at the Theater am Dom in Cologne in the comedy *Weinprobe für Anfänger*.
