Marisa is a movement and film artist originally from the Mississippi gulf coast near New Orleans. She is obsessed with southern gothic aesthetic, any undeveloped film she finds at goodwill, butoh, and 80s slasher films. After thirteen years in NYC as a professional dancer and choreographer, she is currently creating work in the deep south. Find her onstage in Charleston SC doing clown and improv comedy. Her first short film TRUNK was completed in January 2026.
