Reddy initially gained public attention after appearing in Pankaj Udhas's hit 1997 music video "Aur Aahista". She later made her feature film acting debut opposite Sohail Khan in the Hindi romantic action film *Maine Dil Tujhko Diya* (2002). Reddy quickly gained recognition in Bollywood for her glamorous screen presence and established herself through a string of commercially successful films and multi-starrers. Her notable Hindi film credits include Ram Gopal Varma's anthology *Darna Mana Hai* (2003), Sanjay Gupta's action thriller *Musafir* (2004), the hit comedy *Taxi No. 9211* (2006), and the Abbas-Mustan blockbuster thriller *Race* (2008). Following her marriage to entrepreneur Akshai Varde in 2014, Reddy took an extended sabbatical from mainstream acting. During this time, she successfully reinvented herself as a highly popular digital content creator and advocate for body positivity. After a decade-long hiatus, Reddy made a prominent acting comeback, shifting her focus toward author-backed and character-driven scripts. She headlined the horror-thriller *Chimni* (2025), breaking away from her earlier glamorous image. She further solidified her return to the big screen starring alongside Sanjay Dutt in the Hindi drama *Aakhri Sawal* (2026). She also appeared in the long-delayed Anees Bazmee thriller *Naam* (2024). Seamlessly balancing her enduring popularity as an influencer with her second innings in cinema, Reddy continues to engage audiences across digital and theatrical platforms.
